China Import and Export Fair, also known as Canton Fair, was established in the spring of 1957. It is held in Guangzhou in spring and autumn every year. Co-sponsored by the Ministry of Commerce and the People's Government of Guangdong Province. It is sponsored by the China Foreign Trade Center. It is the country with the longest history, the largest scale, the largest variety of goods, the largest number of buyers participating in the fair, and distribution in different countries. As of the 125th session, the Canton Fair has accumulated exports of about US $138.34 billion and a total of about 8.8 million overseas purchasers. At present, the scale of each Canton Fair is 1.185 million square meters, with nearly 25,000 exhibitors at home and abroad, and about 200,000 overseas buyers from more than 210 countries and regions.
